A poem for provision & faith in God's goodness.
FIELDS OF GOLD
I will live in fields of gold
A place of abundance
A place of providence
These fields are drenched with gold
This place of promise
This place of plenty
I see treasures in the fields
This place is a promise
I'm captivated by its rich beauty
God's land is my delight
A place of peace
A place of insight
A place where dreams are given
Authored in your goodness
A land dripping with provisions
For those who honour you
A bounty overflowing with abudance
Your inheritance is given to those who draw near
For you are our delight - Selah
This verse became a manifesto of daily abundance that painted hope on the inside of my heart, in the middle of a very difficult season in my life. I could see in my minds eye a beautiful field that spread across the horizon. The sun-drenched grasses lit with gold and a beautiful song was heard in my heart, an anthem to the goodness of the Creator who bestows on us all his goodness and everything we need to flourish. He is our sufficiency and all we need is found in Him.
This place of hope fashioned a body of work called, "Fields of Gold". I found bible scriptures that I read as often as I could, this changed my life. There is nothing more powerful then the Word of God. Creativity flowed from this place, inspiration flowed, innovation, vision and passion were born in the beautiful fields of gold inside my soul and then began to permeate my circumstances like the sweet scent of spring flowers.
I found peace, rest, creativity and abundance in this place of His Word.

"Oh my soul, find rest in God alone: my hope comes from you." Ps 62:5
"I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty, " declares the Lord - Jer 31:14
"You care for the land water it; you enrich abundantly. The streams of God are filled with rain to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it. You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops. You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. The grasslands of wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing." Psalm 65
